Spring Cleaning at Ah Ma's New Place

We were really excited about spending CNY at Ah Ma's spanking new place in Meru. Maybe Peh Peh Jeffery had not moved in all the furniture, or because the house is really very BIG... there is plenty of room for us kids to run around both inside and outside. Nice too that Kor Kor I-Wen and Jeh Jeh I-Lyn live just across and they pop in or we go over almost everyday we were there :) With Toto the dog still at Southern Park, Dee Dee Rowan and I had a splashing great time cleaning up Ah Ma's porch before CNY. CNY Reunion in SG

The reunion dinner is usually scheduled the weekend before we leave SG to spend CNY in Klang. We needed 2 tables at Gong Gong & Po Po's kitchen. Po Po would open a smaller table for the kids to sit together. This year, Ashley Jeh Jeh decided to sit with Mummy and the other adults. And Daddy came over to feed me. He was the oldest KID!!

We hardly EVER take a photo together as a family. Most of the time, it's only 3 of us - with either Mummy or Daddy in our photos. Just the other day, my teacher Jiahui asked us to bring along a family photo to show our friends in school. That's when Yee Yee snapped this for us, which I thought is really nice!

Rowan's 1st Days at Childcare

Rowan... that's me. I'll be 18 months on 14 Jan. Mummy has enrolled me at Learning Kidz, the same childcare centre that my Ashley Jeh Jeh is attending. Really convenient, as the centre is located just beneath my flat. Mummy bought me new sets of uniforms, but I still inherited some hand-me-downs from my sis. The blue shorts were too loose, they kept slipping off my waist!! I bawled my eyes out as usual when Mummy left me with Teacher Stella on the 1st day. Teacher had told Mummy not to mention the "B-Y-E" word as it will arouse separation anxiety in little kidz like me! The next day, I had to be literally D-R-A-G-G-E-D to school. This lasted for more than a week, much better than my Jeh Jeh I'm proud to say. She cried everyday for an entire month when she first entered childcare!

X'mas in Klang

Shopping malls all over town were adorned in lovely X'mas colors. I especially like the Hansel & Gretel theme at Mid-Valley Megamall, the deco looked great enough to EAT! Look at my Uncles Jeff & Ronnie with Rowan, they were all decked up too!

Ah Mah's Old Place

That's me doing a split with hair tied and Rowan dee dee by my side, smelling fresh after a good clean-up. We're here in my Mummy & Daddy's martimonial room, also my Ah Gou Linda's bedroom until she got married. This will probably be our last visit to Ah Mah's Southern Park house in Klang. Next year, we should be spending Chinese New Year in a brand new place in Meru. We arrived on Sat evening, and had gone straight to Ah Gou's house where the Lims were gathered in anticipation of a SURPRISE 18th birthday party for I-Lyn Jeh Jeh. Nice!
